Privacy notice

Last updated 14 August 2026.

This covers this website only. It is written plainly because you should be able to read it in two minutes.

Who we are

Cutting It, 113 High Road, Beeston, Nottingham NG9 2LH. You can reach us on 07718 001640.

What we collect

Only what you type into the form on the contact page: your name, your phone number, your email address if you give one, what your question is about, and anything you write in the message box. There is no account to create and nothing else is taken from you.

What we do with it

We use it to answer you. It is not sold, it is not passed to anybody for marketing, and you will not be added to a mailing list because you asked a question.

Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: you contacted a salon to ask about something, so replying to you is what you would reasonably expect us to do with it.

How long we keep it

Messages are deleted once they have been dealt with and are no longer any use, and in any case within twelve months.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own. There is no analytics, no advertising pixel and nothing here that follows you around, which is why there is no cookie banner in your way. The bot check on the contact form, described just below, sets no advertising cookie either, so that still holds.

The bot check on the contact form

The form on the contact page is checked by Cloudflare Turnstile, which is there to tell a real person from a bot so the salon is not left sifting spam to find your message. To do that, Cloudflare receives your IP address and some details about your browser. It is not used to track you, it sets no advertising cookie, and it runs on the contact page only — no other page on this site loads it.

Other people's sites

We link out to our Google profile and our Facebook page. Once you follow one of those links you are on somebody else's website and their privacy policy applies, not this one.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Ring the salon and say so. If you are not happy with how we handle it you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
